New Cross Fire station saved after huge campaign by local community

It is official New Cross station no longer faces closure . Only just last week our local newsletter was informing readers that Labour party had given up on the fire station campaign after GLA Labour member Len Duval told People Before Profit activist  George hallam that Labour would insure the fire station was not turned into Private flats.
