Never before has the NHS and the nation been so United in its support of the legal action being launched today in High Court by Save the Lewisham Hospital Campaign. Lewisham like everything else its people get engaged with is the largest hospital campaign group in the UK that lead to 25.000 local residents marching in opposition to the closure. Lewisham Residents may chose to vote and elect 3 local MPs in 2015 if the Labour party refuse to promise not to close the Hospital if they win in 2015, this would cost Labour 3 seats. The real scandle about this closure is that it has nothing to do with Lewisham Hospital, the Goverment seems to want the land to sell off to pay the Debt built up on Labour PFI deals in other areas.

PFI deals are bleeding the NHS dry, and had it not been for the pressure and the huge amount of work by Lewisham and Greenwich People before profit groups and members Labour would have kept there role in this scandle quiet.

Labour last week agreed to carry on the Conservative Privatisation and cuts agenda leaving the people of this country with no national opposition. In South London we have People before Profit who will be fighting all the Council seats in 2014 and if Labour are still playing games by refusing to back calls to save the Hospital, we would Support GP and Chair Louise Irving  of Save our Hospital as the parlimentary candidate for Deptford
