NHS Goverment refuse to publish risk register.

Faculty of Public Health Publish Own Risk Register #SaveOurNHS

By Tim Hardy
In light of the government’s continued refusal to publish the official risk register, the Faculty of Public Health have produced a risk assessment of the Health and Social Care Bill, focusing primarily on the impact on patients and the public. It highlights four key areas of concern:
  • loss of a comprehensive national health service
  • increased costs
  • reduced quality of care
  • widening health inequalities.
This legislation could be forced through parliament on Tuesday 20 March 2012 without MPs having a chance to see the dangers of the reforms for which they are being told to vote.
This short film makes the professional case for dropping the bill.
It’s not too late to get involved in fighting this outrage of a bill. There are local demonstrations on Monday and today, for those in London, the UK Uncut protest for mother’s day.
