Since the age of five i have been a Community activist, in cold winter nights going door to door with my Grandmorther with one petition or another so after all these years it is a refreshing surprise to find out that Julie Ling and other former members of staff at Come the Revolution cafe which sadly was hit by the economic down turn and was forced to close, have nominated me for the South London and Mercury Local Hero awards.
